PVD Squash’s mission is to get as many people playing squash as possible. We celebrate squash as a life-long sport promoting health, happiness, comradery and community. We offer annual and monthly memberships, lessons, clinics and an amazing community. Hosting leagues and tournaments, we provide opportunities for members to have friendly and competitive play. Never played? No worries. We welcome and accommodate all levels of play, and we offer equipment to borrow and free taster sessions to let you try the sport with no commitment.

PVD Squash boasts a world-class facility, the Gorgi Family Squash & Education Center. Built by Moses Brown School and SquashBusters, the Gorgi Center officially opened its doors to Providence in December 2017. This beautiful, natural light filled facility houses 11 squash courts, one hardball doubles court, two classrooms, SquashBuster offices, locker rooms, and a squash pro shop. It is one of the largest community based squash facilities in the US.

PVD Squash is supported and enlivened by our extraordinary community partners:

Moses Brown: A Friends’ School, MB was founded in 1784 by one of colonial America’s leading abolitionists. For over 237 years, MB has helped boys and girls ages 3-18 discover their inner promise, and fostered the utmost care for learning, people, and place. With Quaker values at the center of an MB education, children learn not just to do well, but to go out and do good. With the addition of the Gorgi Center on the MB campus, the school now boasts an extensive squash program running middle school, JV and Varsity programs.

SquashBusters: A non-profit after-school youth enrichment program, SquashBusters challenges and nurtures urban youth – as students, athletes and citizens – so that they recognize and fulfill their greatest potential in life. One of three regional sites, SQB PVD currently provides year-round academic and squash programming for 57 6-9th graders from the Providence public school system.
